Niels Melo – Photographer / Editor
Niels has thirty years of experience in network news including the “CBS Evening News” and “48 Hours” and he has shot and edited programs for A & E, Food Network and CNBC, along with dozens of documentary projects for PBS and the New York Public Library. Niels has directed numerous electronic press kit productions for major motion pictures, video news releases for corporate productions, Webcasts, and national and international satellite conference links. He has also produced projects for a long list of high-profile technology and health industry clients. Niels is a certified pilot and provides clients with aerial footage.
Andrew Lock – Editor
Andrew is a video editor, technology expert and an authority in the emerging high definition format. His most recent book, "How to Shoot, Edit & Distribute HDV" is a respected guide in the field. Andrew is highly proficient in all things digital, from digital editing, Internet and Web site productions and distribution to video streaming.
Greg Tirado – Producer / Writer
A veteran of news and documentaries, over the past three decades Greg has been news director, executive producer and show producer at several of Los Angeles’ television and radio news departments. He’s received multiple Golden Mike awards for excellence in writing and producing. He is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema-Television.
Tom Ranier – Music Composer / Arranger
One of the most accomplished musicians in television today, Tom’s credits range from the Oscar, Grammy and Emmy award telecasts to “American Idol” and “Dancing With the Stars.” His thirty years of experience includes hundreds of musical arrangements, recordings, tours and performance with music stars such as Barbara Streisand, John Williams and Artie Shaw.
Frank Becker – Music Composer / Arranger
With thousands of hours of music on television, Mr. Becker’s career spans nearly four decades and several countries. His music compositions have won prestigious awards in America, Japan and England. Here in the United States, he is a regular contributor to network programs and documentaries. He was recently recognized for his musical scoring of the acclaimed A & E documentary about the Vatican.
Susan Han Hashimoto – Graphic Artist
Susan is an award winning artist and graphic designer with extensive experience serving a wide range of corporate and nonprofit clients. She develops art concepts and produces digital artwork and graphics in support of Stone’s Throw projects.
Susie Dittmar – Researcher / Producer
Susie assists Stone's Throw Productions in a variety of producing capacities. Her background includes ten years of experience as a staff researcher, producer and writer for CNN's entertainment division along with supervising the production of the CNN weekly program, "Turner Entertainment."
